Hansa Heavy Lift

HANSA HEAVY LIFT

Since its founding in 2011, HANSA HEAVY LIFT GmbH has quickly become a leader in the global heavy lift industry, boasting one of the youngest fleets in the market today. They are the carrier of choice for the super heavy lift industry for cargo weighing over 900 metric tonnes, with ships specially designed for the transport of oversized cargo that require maximum lifting capacity and outreach.

HHL delivers best-in-class engineering solutions to our customers all over the globe, particularly in the subsea, oil and gas, as well as the offshore wind farm sectors, thanks to their in-house team of naval architects, and structural and welding engineers with shipyard, offshore, and installation backgrounds.

Their vessels can operate in shallow waters, often out of reach for other carriers, and come equipped with onboard cranes that have a combined lifting capacity of up to 1,400 metric tonnes.

Their vessels hold one of the highest ice-class, E3 equivalent to Finnish-Swedish 1A (Russian Arc. 4) which means they can comfortably cut through sea ice up to 0.8 meter thick. The vessels are compliant with the requirements of the Offshore Vessel Inspection Database (OVID). We are experts in sailing via the Northern Sea Route to the most remote ports in Russia.
